Switch into cybersecurity, from any background
Yes, you can move into a cybersecurity career in Singapore with no IT background. The route is a structured programme, real funding, and a coach who stays with you through to your first role.
Cybersecurity looks like noise from the outside: threats, tools and acronyms moving too fast to read. We do not water that down. We give you a clear path through it, and the proof that the path works.
You start with a free taster, not a fee. You build practical, job-ready skills on the tools used in active security operations. And you finish with a portfolio, recognised certificates, and a career-services team whose job is to get you hired.
New to all this? Start with our complete guide to switching to a cybersecurity career in Singapore.

Who this is for
You are in your 30s, 40s or 50s and want a second act with real earning potential.
You come from IT support, banking operations, administration, sales, teaching or the trades.
You are practical and methodical, and you would rather learn by doing than by reading theory.
You have asked yourself, honestly, whether it is too late. It is not.
Most learners pay far less than the full fee
Funding stacks. For the flagship programme, the full fee is S$19,500; the nett fee after funding is a fraction of that for eligible Singapore citizens.
Eligibility and exact figures are confirmed at the info session. Subsidy figures pending final sign-off.

Questions, answered
Can I switch into cybersecurity with no IT background?
Yes. Most of our graduates who secured cyber roles had no prior IT background. What matters is a structured, beginner-friendly programme and real career support, not a computer science degree.
How long does it take to switch careers?
Plan for seven to 12 months from your first free info session to a first role, depending on the programme and your pace. The flagship Cybersecurity Career Kickstart+ is 333 training hours over about eight months, delivered online and part-time around full-time work.
How much does it cost, and what funding is available?
The flagship full fee is S$19,500, but eligible Singapore citizens pay far less after SkillsFuture funding: up to 90% for citizens aged 40 and above (a nett fee of about S$1,950), and up to 70% for citizens aged 21 to 39 and permanent residents (about S$5,850). SkillsFuture Credit, UTAP and PSEA can reduce the nett fee further. We work this out with you at the info session.
What jobs do graduates move into?
The most common first role is SOC analyst, the person who monitors systems for attacks and investigates alerts. Graduates also move into security analysis, forensics and related roles across more than 40 hiring organisations.
Is the training online?
Yes, mostly online and part-time, designed around working adults, with hands-on labs and live sessions.
How do I get started?
Book a free info session, then try the free experiential workshop. You only enrol once you have seen the curriculum and run a real scenario for yourself.
