SkillsFuture fee calculator
See what SkillsFuture funding could bring your course fee down to, before you book a free info session to confirm it.
What would your course actually cost you?
Estimate your nett fee after SkillsFuture funding and your own top-up credits, for either programme. These are indicative estimates only, confirmed at the free info session.
SCTP full-time intake dates are confirmed at the free info session. The Training Allowance requires earned income in the 12 months before the course starts and is paid to you monthly, separately from your fee.
Indicative estimates only, not a fee quotation. SkillsFuture Credit, UTAP, PSEA and Additional Funding Support each carry their own eligibility rules. We confirm your exact eligibility and latest figures at the free info session.
Four steps to your estimate
- Choose your programme. Select Cybersecurity Career Kickstart+ or SCTP Cybersecurity Career Kickstart+ Defence to see the fee and funding tiers for that programme.
- Enter your citizenship and age. Singapore Citizen, PR or international, plus your age, sets which SkillsFuture subsidy tier applies to you.
- Add your credits and top-ups. SkillsFuture Credit, UTAP and PSEA reduce your nett fee further, where you are eligible. Fields you do not qualify for lock automatically, with an explainer on hover.
- See your estimated fee. Get your nett fee after subsidy and credits, plus any Mid-Career Training Allowance you may receive during training.

What three learners would actually pay
Singapore Citizen, 45
Credits more than cover the nett fee. At an average monthly income of S$5,000, the Mid-Career Training Allowance separately pays S$2,500 a month for the duration of training.
Singapore Citizen, 32
Singapore PR, 38
SkillsFuture Credit and PSEA do not apply to PRs, but UTAP does.
Indicative only. Every example uses the same rules as the calculator above; run your own numbers there for your situation.
Common questions
Is the funding calculator a fee quotation?
No. It gives an indicative estimate based on the funding rules as published. Your exact eligibility and the latest figures are confirmed at the free info session before you enrol.
What is the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy?
A course-fee subsidy of up to 90% for Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above, on top of the standard subsidy every Singapore Citizen and PR already receives. It is what takes the nett fee down furthest for eligible learners.
What is the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance?
A monthly allowance for the SCTP Cybersecurity Career Kickstart+ programme, for Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above: up to S$3,000 a month full-time (50% of your average monthly income over the past 12 months, floor S$300), or a flat S$300 a month part-time. It requires earned income in the 12 months before the course starts, and is paid to you directly, separately from your course fee.
How do I apply for SkillsFuture funding?
SkillsFuture Credit is applied automatically against your course fee when you enrol. The Training Allowance is a separate application at ta.myskillsfuture.gov.sg with Singpass, once your course has started. We walk you through both at the free info session.
